This is a very personal record of his observations on world events - Gaza, the return of President Trump, wars, famines and climate change - leavened with reflections on the deaths of mentors such as Charles Handy and Michael Coady, together with readings from books and poems he encountered during the year.

John Quinn is a former teacher and radio broadcaster who became a successful writer over the past twenty-five years.
